How to Prep Coloring Pages for Paint + A Free Printable

Hey, y'all!  I am so excited to share today's post with y'all!  I love making freebies for y'all, and it's been too long since I shared one.  Recently, I made a hand-drawn, hand-lettered coloring page for all you who love Bible journaling like I do.  When I finished the printable, I realized I had a fun tip to share with you that I learned from Instagram.  So today I'm sharing my cute "Coffee, Christ, and Creativity" printable, and I'm showing you how you can prep any coloring page so that you can use paint on it instead of being limited to only using colored pencils or markers!

Free Printable Hand-Lettered Stocking Coloring Page

Hey, y'all!  I am officially on Christmas vacation, and I couldn't be happier!  I always have grand plans and lots of ideas for Christmas-themed posts for the blog, and then I never have time to execute all those ideas.  It makes me sad, but I'm starting to learn that it's okay to slow down (if possible) during the holidays and soak in the spirit of Christmas.  And you know what?  I LOVE my blog, but it's a fun hobby, and if it stresses me out and it's not fun anymore, I shouldn't be doing it.  My point is that I'm sorry if I didn't share as much Christmas inspiration as you would expect from me, but I know y'all understand the hustle and bustle of the holidays too.  Anyway, today I want to share a quick free printable coloring page with y'all.  It's a perfect boredom-buster for kids.

I hand-lettered this fun stocking for my DIY Hand-Lettered Stocking Tee that I shared last week.  I knew when I imported my design into Illustrator that it would be a perfect coloring page too, so I tweaked it a bit, and here it is!

Free Hand-Lettered "Cultivate Inner Beauty" Bible Verse Coloring Page

Hey, y'all!  Whenever I get free time (which isn't that often), I like to practice my hand-lettering.  I'm often inspired to take my hand lettering that I do in my journaling Bible and turn that into a coloring page that I can share with y'all.  A while ago, I journaled a verse that I just love: 1 Peter 3:4-5.  I had to create a coloring page to match my journaling, and today I'm sharing that with y'all.

When I stumbled on 1 Peter 3:4-5, I immediately loved the verse.  It reminds me that I shouldn't only focus on my outer beauty; I need to spend just as much time, if not more, on my inner beauty.

Free Hand-Lettered Bible Verse Printable and Coloring Page: Romans 12

Hey, y'all!  Earlier in the summer, I shared a printable hand-lettered coloring sheet here on the blog, and people seemed to really enjoy it.  Of course, that made me want to make more.  So today I'm sharing my Romans 12 Hand-lettered Printable and Coloring Sheet with you.  That's right; if you want a printable, I have you covered, and if you'd rather color your own, I have you covered.  ;)

A while back I showed you how to illustrate your Bible, and the verse I illustrated was Romans 12:2--a verse that reminds me that God has called Christians to be different than the world through constant renewing of our minds through His Word.  I realize that not everyone has a Journaling Bible, and not everyone feels comfortable trying to create art.  With that in mind, I decided to make a hand-lettered coloring page because pretty much anyone can color right?

Hey, y'all!  Today I'm participating in a fun series hosted by Emily of Nap Time Creations called the Summer Fun Series.  Throughout the summer, bloggers are teaming up with Emily to share projects and ideas great for kids.  I haven't been blessed with kids yet, but I still wanted to participate, so my contribution is something that I think is good for all ages, from kids to the kids-at-heart: a hand-lettered Bible verse printable that doubles as a coloring page.

Here in South Carolina, it gets REALLY hot and humid during the summer, and some days it's best to  stay inside where it's cool if you can.  On those days, I'm sure parents have a hard time keeping kids occupied, so I hope that this coloring sheet will occupy the kids for at least a little while.
