I have an exciting announcement to make! I am having my very first linky party!!!! This party is not just any ol' linky party. This party is, well, let me show you.......
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. According to the Susan G. Komen for a Cure website, "In 2011, it is estimated that among U.S. women: There will be 230,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer.... There will be 57,650 new cases of [non-invasive] breast cancer. There will be 39,520 breast cancer deaths." With statistics like these, I'm sure we all know someone who has suffered from breast cancer. You yourself may have had the disease. It's really important that women and even men are aware of breast cancer, how to check themselves monthly for it, and how to lower their risk for breast cancer.
So to help raise awareness, I'm asking you link up your pink projects. Link your pink crafts, pink recipes, pink furniture, pink decor.....You get the idea! And to make it even more special, I would love for you to put the name or initials of a person who has had breast cancer you would like to memorialize or honor in the name section of submission to the party.
