Free Printable Wonky Alphabets for Journaling + Planning

Hey, y'all!  I can't believe how fast the summer flew by!  Today is my last day as a free woman.  Just kidding...sort of.  I start school tomorrow, so that means less time to be lazy creative.  One of the things I wanted to do on my last day of summer is to share a fun freebie with y'all!
FREE Printable Wonky Alphabet
A few weeks ago, Shanna Noel of Illustrated Faith shared a video tutorial showing everyone how to make fun alphas from decorated paper.  (You can find the video here.)  I followed her tutorial to create some really pretty letters that I used in a couple of my latest Bible journaling entries.  You can see one of them below.

I had so much fun making the letters!  Then my creative wheels started turning, and I realized that I could create some hand-drawn wonky alphabet printables for y'all to use.  That way if you were in a hurry and didn't have time to create your own abstract background and then cut letters from them, you could simply print off one of the sets I created and get busy in your Bibles or planners.

So yesterday I got busy smearing and splattering paint on a page to create a fun abstract pattern.  Then I drew a wonky alphabet and used Adobe Illustrator to combine the two for a fun FREEBIE.  You can download the purple wonky alpha--outlined and non-outlined like the photo above--below.

I had a pretty smeared paint swatch on my computer already that I created for the "Like a Tree" Devotional Set, so I used it to create another set of alphas, and I created one more abstract background that I used too.  You can download them both below.

Once you download the alpha printables, you're ready to print them.  You can use regular card stock, but if you want to get even more creative, use white sticker paper or clear sticker paper.  You can print them regular size, or you can print two to a page to get smaller letters.  After the alphas are printed, cut the letters out and you're ready to get creative!!!

I seriously cannot wait to see what y'all create with these wonky alphas!  Make sure to tag me on Instagram so I can see your creative genius!!!  (I'm @pitterandglink there too.)  Happy crafting, y'all!

  4. Nice, these alphabets look great although they are bit too-funky for my taste. I don’t keep a journal but I would’ve liked this if I was in my teens.
