Can I be honest with y'all for a second? I'm a little nervous about sharing this devotion with you. You see, I don't really consider myself a "writer." Yes, I'm an English teacher, and, yes, I write project tutorials all the time, but this type of writing is different.
Or at least it feels different to me. Why? It feels different because this is about Jesus, and I want this devotion to be a tool used by Him. I guess my worry is what if this isn't "good enough" to be used by Him? But as I type that, I realize how silly that statement is. God can use anything. My goodness, he used a donkey in the Old Testament!
With that in mind, my prayer is that God will use this devotion--no matter how good or bad it is--as a tool to bring you closer to Him. I pray that it encourages you to slow down during the holiday season and find rest in Him.
I hope that you'll carve out a little bit of time this holiday season to dig into this devotion and be creative in the margins of your Bible using the printables goodies.
I can't wait to see what you create! If you create a page in your journal or Bible using these printables, I'd love if you'd share it on social media using the hashtag #restinhimdevo so I can see. Happy holidays!
