{DIY Interchangeable Instagram Photo Frame}

Hey, y'all!  Back in July, Consumer Crafts sent me some supplies to create a project for Crafts Unleashed, their craft blog.  I came up with this fun Instagram photo display.  (You can find the original post HERE.)  Today I want to share the the project with y'all.
Most people these days are guilty of using their camera phones way more than other types of cameras, and Instagram is all the rage.  The only problem with this is that we often fail to display these pictures anywhere other than the web.  Making a frame dedicated to holding Instagram pics is a great way to display these photos so that you can appreciate them daily.

The best feature about this frame is that you can change the layout of the pics anytime you want.
Supplies needed to make your own Instagram photo frame:

The first step to creating the Instagram frame is painting the shadow box.  I painted the actual frame part of the box pink.

I painted the inside white.

To seal all the paint, I sprayed the box with matte sealer.

Y'all know I like my glitter and don't like anything too plain, so I used sparkle tape to create gold stripes on the background of the shadow box.

I attached a sawtooth hanger to the back of the frame.  To do this, I marked the middle of the frame with a pencil and simply lined the middle of the sawtooth hanger up with the line and nailed it down.

I used photo corners to adhere my photo to the back of the shadow box.

I wanted to create a little something extra to decorate the frame, so I created a pennant banner.  I painted polka dots on the canvas triangles and attached baker's twine to the back of the triangles with hot glue to complete the banner.

The frame can display a grouping of Instagram photos.

Or it can display one larger Instagram photo.  And as you can see, the banner can be attached to the frame or above the frame.

Because the pictures are attached with the photo corners, you can remove them at any time and change the layout.

Now that I have my frame finished, I have no excuse to not print and display my Instagram photos!
While Consumer Crafts sent me materials to create this project, all opinions are 100% mine.
