{DIY Dragonfly Earrings}

Hey, y'all!  Today I want to share another easy jewelry tutorial with you.
These earrings only take a few supplies.
For each earring, you will need an earring hook, two jump rings, a head pin, a large bead, and a charm. I chose a dragonfly charm for my earrings, but you could use whatever charm you fancy.  :)
Begin by threading the head pin through your large bead.  Use pliers to create a hoop at the top of the head pin.  Then use the pliers to open one jump ring and thread it onto your charm.
Attach the charm to the hoop at the top of your bead and close the jump ring.  Open the other jump ring, thread it through the jump ring you just closed and the earring wire, and then close the open jump ring.  Repeat for the other earring, and you're done!
I like the gold charm paired with the pretty green bead.
I think one of the bead and charm combos would look really pretty on a dainty gold chain.  That's the great thing about simple jewelry making--you can use "easy" skills to create multiple different beautiful pieces of jewelry!

  2. I love them! I have the same beads, but not sure I have 2 dragon flies. Going to look to see what charms I have - maybe butterflies!

  11. I love color of the glass bead and the dragonflies on them, very pretty contrast. Would love to make some for our granddaughters. They are 13 and 16 so love different earrings to wear. They also perform with their Dad often so love to have new ones to go with their outfits. Great tutorial. Another project I'll be printing out. Gee, do ya think I might like your blog? Enjoy your summer.
