Hi, everyone!  The "thing" in blog land lately is making awesome wreaths like these at Tater Tots and Jello.  I love the look of the wreaths, and y'all know I love to craft, so I decided to join in the fun and make my own.
I gathered my supplies together, and I took a picture of them so that you would know what you need to make a wreath like mine.  Unfortunately, I'm a "craft, revise and repeat" crafter, so, of course, these are not the only supplies I used.  I'll tell you about the materials I added when I get to those steps. :)
I wrapped the wreath form I purchased at JoAnn's in strips of burlap.  (It was a Sunday when I went shopping, so Hobby Lobby was closed.  I was heart broken.)  I hot glued my strips in place as I wrapped.
I painted my D....well, I have to be honest.  It's not a D.  As I've mentioned before, I live about 45 minutes from a craft store, and I didn't think about adding a letter to my wreath until I got home.  I just happened to have a P, so I turned it upside down to make a D.  Anyway, I painted the letter with orange Martha Stewart pearl paint.  I inked the edges of the letter with my brown ink pad to give it an aged look.
I used my fabric to create rolled roses.  I have to make another confession with this step. LOL.  After I worked on my flowers, I realized I needed some bright orange fabric.  I had to improvise because of my "proximity to a craft store" situation.  So I went to a local thrift store and bought an orange skirt.  I cut it up for more fabric.  :)
I pinned and hot glued some lace to the side of the wreath as a background for my roses.  Then I pinned and hot glued my roses and my letter.  After I finished all that, I realized my wreath needed a bit of sparkle.  I took some silk flowers, coated them with Mod Podge, and sprinkled glitter on them.  They added just the right amount of sparkle.
Then I glued on my P....I mean, D. ;)  After all that, I had a finished fall wreath.  I love it!  I love how it's not "in-your-face" orange.  I think it has just the right amount of orange to be fall-like but still classy.
Now go on and start rolling some roses and cutting some burlap because you know you want to make one now! :)

Love your wreath. Love those flowers too.

I would've never even known it was a p - I like a "D" lower case anyways ;) Super cute!
